Introducing SOLARIS

Born out of a global pandemic, SOLARIS is a Black multidisciplinary artist collective joint consisting of:

Ra’anaa Brown, M.Arch: Multidisciplinary artist, community arts organizer, PhD student, public speaker, and Co-founder and President of Black Lives Matter Sudbury. 

Isak Vaillancourt, BA: Multimedia artist, filmmaker, graduate student, and Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter Sudbury

Sonia Ekiyor-Katimi, M.Arch: Professional artist, muralist, and fashion designer. 

Past projects include: ETHEREAL, a photography installation/zine; amplify, a short documentary and Here to Stay Baby, a mural, and more to come soon.
