ETHEREAL

ETHEREAL is a collaborative photography installation centralized around the theme of Black beauty, particularly that of hair.

Often considered unprofessional or undesirable, Black hair truly exudes an aspect of nature, togetherness and a palimpsest of our ancestors before us. While Black hair has become quite a contentious matter, ETHEREAL was designed to show the entanglement of Black culture, beauty and community through a series of themed hair scenes. Flora Royalty, Braided Bond and Evening Noir highlight our three varying hair intentions.
